About the Author
I’m just another individual on a journey of self-discovery. Essentially an old soul, I seek happiness in sorrow, colors in the dullest of places, and inspiration in the mundane.
Insanity is something we all demonstrate from time to time; this insanity is what really makes us human. This blog is a pure reflection of myself and my (in)sanity. At times, I just feel the need to share my discoveries, my creations and my insights with the world; this blog is my outlet. There’s too much negativity out there so I try and put out a positive vibe, hoping, praying that somewhere someone has a smile on their face because of what they are reading on this blog.
Life’s short so I try to make sure that every life I touch is a life I make better. Tag along with me to learn some of life’s valuable lessons that I’ve had to learn the hard way.

Assalaamualaikum,
I discovered your blog a couple of days ago and I’m completely hooked on to it. I love insanity and can totally relate to many things here. At first it was hard to believe that this was not a girl’s blog, because many Pakistani men have been conditioned to: 1) love and demand food, but stay clear from the kitchen 2) die rather than discuss recipes 3) never appreciate their wives in public 4) consider arts and crafts as ‘girlish’. But your blog is a breath of fresh air. May you continue to crush this stereotypical image of a Pakistani man into a zillion more pieces
Best of luck for all your future endeavours.

Asslamaoalaikum Hina,
This is perhaps one of the best comments I have ever gotten from any of my readers and I cannot tell you how much this means to me.
I’m all about shattering stereotypes and I love being an outcast, ergo the insanity.
Take care and Allah Hafiz

Wa’alaikumussalaam,
The good and the doer of good must be appreciated. Thank you for adorning cyberspace with your insanely amazing pieces of creativity.
Maybe, at some point in time, you can conduct classes for the men of our country where you can give life lessons on how to undo layers of conditioning and break free
