Honestly, I have NO idea. This was taken back when I used to live in Dubai a few years back. As you can see, this is a macro shot and these flowers are no larger than 3-4 millimeters in diameter, so from afar, the purple patch just took my breath away and I couldn’t resist taking a photo!

If it was in Dubai it would be tropical or semi-tropical probably. Interesting – nice photo.
